Call for abstracts: AIM-COST meeting 2020, Lisbon, Portugal 12th-13th February

The 2nd AIM-COST Annual Conference will be focused on Surveillance of Aedes Invasive Mosquitoes in Europe (see Preliminary Agenda). We here open a call for the submission of abstracts for oral communications (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion). Whilst presentations on any research area focusing on Aedes invasive mosquitoes are welcome, preference will be given to talks which highlight results, as well as critical points, on the following topics:

  • Surveillance and risk mapping
  • Monitoring insecticide resistance
  • Policies and guidelines

Priority will be given to presentations made by young participants (i.e. MSc/PhD students or ECI[1]). Travel and accommodation for participants selected to present an oral communication will be covered by AIM-COST.

Abstracts should be written in English and have between 250 and 400 words. You are invited to submit your abstract in this electronic form...

The deadline for submitting the abstracts is November 28th 2019. Selected participants will be notified within end of 2019.
