Role and main activities in AIMCOST

Frédéric Jourdain will be involved in the dissemination, customisation and communication task of AIMCOST, and more specifically as the deputy leader for the Customisation of surveillance and control guidelines

Short Bio:

He worked at the French ministry of Health, where he acted as the national referent for vector monitoring and control issues from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2017, he worked at Institute for Research for Sustainable Development (IRD) for the French National Centre for expertise on vectors. He assumed different tasks mainly by promoting networks of expertise in order to mobilize capacities in medical and veterinary entomology with a view to support decision making. He was then involved in the medical entomology network within MediLabSecure, an EU funded project.
